The Daily Orange part 2, The Amazing Legacy
Yesterday I wrote about my days doing comic strips for Syracuse University’s “Daily Orange”. It occured to me that many of today’s most talented cartoonists and illustrators also got their start on the same comic page. Four have already been written up on the Channel Frederator Blog! ALL of the following artists started their careers in the very same college newspaper.

Pancakes with Pen Ward
Last week, I was passed through the LA area and had breakfast with the infamous Pen Ward, director of “Adventure Time” and “Bravest Warriors”. Over the course of the meal, I grilled him with every question I could think of regarding his cartoon process. Then I made him draw something in my sketchbook (see above).
