Watch18. Foreign Cartoon About Hands
This week’s Meth Minute 39 cartoon is a weird short film we dug up from the dusty archives of a little-known Eastern European nation. Although we can’t understand the language these Hand-dudes are speaking, we can certainly understand their feelings. Looks like moving giant coffee mugs around has always been a pain in the ass.

WatchMeth Minute Mondays: 14. MUSTARD WATER
Local boys Beef and Stu return for another round of mischief. Starring myself as Stu and Justin Johnson as Beef.
The music was composed by my friend Andrew Landry. I told him I needed an “80’s movie underdog training montage” and he nailed it. Then I wrote words to sing on top that lyricize whatever was happening onscreen.

Episode 17 of The Meth Minute series is an experimental combination of animation and alcohol. To create “Drinking and Drawing”, a tab was opened in a New York City bar and after 5 hours the following short film was created. Space Cowboy Storyboards Drawn When I Was 13
As I mentioned in a previous post, the newest Meth Minute cartoon was written as a comic book when I was in eighth grade. It’s been in the works as an animated cartoon since 1991.
Here’s some shots that compare the original art to the accompanying recent recreations. I had fun breathing new life in the characters while assistant Daisy Edwards drew the backgrounds and architecture.
