19. Cavalcade of Laffs 2 Episode of 19 of The Meth Minute marks the return of Cavalcade of Laffs. This time, Sir George is bringing comedy to the friendly skies with another questionable act. Apparently all this talk of increased airline security is just a load of…

Meth Minute Soundtrack By Grandpa Meth
The newest Meth Minute Cartoon is my tribute to the strange animation of Eastern Europe. I’ve always been interested in all things Eastern Bloc, probably because my family lineage originates from Hungary, Belarus, Romania, etc. If we had never immigrated to America, I might be making cartoons like this: When I had finished the animation and was looking for a background soundtrack, I knew...

The 12 Days Of Touring Here’s a little  holiday-ish music video I threw together with my friends Mixel Pixel, a Brooklyn music group. They wrote this funny rock band-themed spoof on “12 Days of Christmas” and I thought it would make a funny cartoon. Merry Touring!

18. Foreign Cartoon About Hands This week’s Meth Minute 39 cartoon is a weird short film we dug up from the dusty archives of a little-known Eastern European nation. Although we can’t understand the language these Hand-dudes are speaking, we can certainly understand their feelings. Looks like moving giant coffee mugs around has always been a pain in the ass.

PBS Gets Crunk'd!
One place I never thought I’d see my silly little web cartoons is PBS. But last night “Hebrew Crunk” was included in the final chapter of the 3-part documentary “The Jewish Americans”. Why I forgot to mention this on the blog BEFORE it aired is beyond me.  Maybe it will be on again. Check your local PBS listings. Thank you to director David Grubin for including my...

Meth Minute Mondays: 14. MUSTARD WATER Local boys Beef and Stu return for another round of mischief. Starring myself as Stu and Justin Johnson as Beef. The music was composed by my friend Andrew Landry. I told him I needed an “80’s movie underdog training montage” and he nailed it. Then I wrote words to sing on top that lyricize whatever was happening onscreen.

17. Drinking & Drawing Episode 17 of The Meth Minute series is an experimental combination of animation and alcohol. To create “Drinking and Drawing”, a tab was opened in a New York City bar and after 5 hours the following short film was created. Does increasingly impaired hand-eye coordination equal escalating drama? Find out.

Space Cowboy Storyboards Drawn When I Was 13
As I mentioned in a previous post, the newest Meth Minute cartoon was written as a comic book when I was in eighth grade. It’s been in the works as an animated cartoon since 1991. Here’s some shots that compare the original art to the accompanying recent recreations. I had fun breathing new life in the characters while assistant Daisy Edwards drew the backgrounds and architecture. ...

16. Sid And Nancy In this pop-culture mashup, famed punk rock icons Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen get re-mixed with a certain cat and mouse duo from the Golden Age of animation. The resulting combination is somehow even more unwholesome than the true events which inspired it. Never mind the Sex Pistols, here’s the Meth Minute!

15. P-Cok Episode 15 of the Meth Minute is all about peacocks, specifically one named P-Cok. Ever notice how peacocks get all the girls? It must be the feathers. Maybe this hip-hop video/ nature special will solve the mystery. Play on playa.
