Iphone Doodlez
I never thought that my Iphone would be such a useful artistic tool. There’s a free appliation called Scribble which let’s you draw with your finger on top of any photo from your camera library. Now, whenever I find myself on long boring NYC subway trips I start doodling.
The limitations of Scribble are what makes it such a cool program. With only 11 gaudy colors to choose from, you can barely refine your line-work. There’s not even an eraser! This lack of precision forces you to loosen up and become free and bold. It all ends up looking like what Matisse would have made in the 1980’s.
