This is a Stegosaurus Pill
Within moments of swallowing this pill, your consciousness will be transmitted into the mind of an actual stegosaurus who lived 150 million years ago. You will immediately understand the emotions, desires, and memories of that stegosaurus and for up to 10 minutes you will have complete sensory transferral. Upon returning to your own body, the experience will seem like a dream and you will rapidly forget the sensations but will always know that it was real.
A painting I did for the cover of California rock band The Lazer Quails eponymous debut album.
“Exile on Meme Street”
My internet twist on the most raucous Rolling Stones album.
Happy Father’s Day
To my rad Dad and to Yours!

PS: That image was inspired by this 1989 album cover by Queen… which makes it look way too easy to do… especially considering they didn’t even have Photoshop back then!

It occurred to me last night that this little head is seen by more people each day than anything else I’ve ever drawn. It’s the default Tumblr avatar.
For years I shared the same office space with David Karp, the wonderkind Internet entrepreneur. In April 2007, he walked over to my desk and asked me to design a little head logo for this new application he was building called “Tumblr.”
I drew a couple versions and he picked one.

It’s still the default avatar (for the time being!) I certainly didn’t realize how huge Tumblr would get but I should have because…Tumblr is AWESOME!
Hanging out with Chauncey
I’ve been working over at Augenblick Studios helping my buddy Devin make new episodes of his show “Ugly Americans”. I’ve loved all the stuff that’s come out of Augenblick over the years; “Superjail” and “Wonder Showzen” in particular. And wow, Chauncey of Wonder Showzen (see above) still lives there.
Happy Birthday If You Were Born On April 6th.
I was. So were all these other folks according to Wikipedia. Quite a posse. I feel a cosmic kinship with them all… except for Zach Braff. Not a fan.
Met a pretty huge cartoon star this weekend in the Arizona desert of all places.
I’ve been getting asked to design some really weird things.
But please, keep your questions coming!
I C > > > you guys!
Lillie (1913-2010)
My grandmother was a really cool and special lady.
She grew up very poor in Hungary.
She outwitted the Nazis to survive WWII.
She found her way to America and loved it here.
She wrote about it all in her memoirs.
She was married for 71 years!
She cooked incredible stuffed cabbage and squeezed her own orange juice.
She played Uno and Rummikub with us.
She always hung my drawings on the refrigerator.
She was the best grandmother you could ever have and I’m gonna miss her.
