The Beat Generation (circa 2000)
This is the first Flash video I ever made. At the time I was working the night shift at a California hotel as a security guard / parking-lot valet. During my few free waking hours each afternoon, I’d work on this video and fantasize about a future in which I was no longer a security guard / parking-lot valet.

Frank Simms Animated Voiceover Reel (2003)
I made this crazy cartoon montage years ago for a very talented voiceover artist and singer named Frank Simms. Aside from doing countless commercials and and jingles, he’s sung backup for David Bowie, Billy Joel, and Madonna. It’s hard to believe every voice you hear in this cartoon is coming out of the same guy’s mouth.

My 5,000th Tumblr Follower Happens To Be A Crew Member Of The Starship Enterprise!
I took a dashboard screenshot when it reached that milestone…and when I checked out the blog of my 5,000th follower, Sabrina Morris, I discovered she had a small role in “Star Trek”. She’s clearly tight with Spock! Sabrina, can you email him and Kirk this cartoon I did spoofing that very movie???:
“Recession Guy” is by a little known 70’s group called R.C. Cola, Tender, ‘Lil Eddie, and Johnny Crave. It was recorded during the original Great Recession of December 2008 in a hotel room on their reunion tour. It was originally released on a full length LP entitled ‘Recessionality’ on the now defunct Detroit label, Sad Clown. Fun Fact: The song also features guest vocals by Dr. Phil and former Presidential runner-up, John McCain.

“Emomelon” shows up on Urban Dictionary
Maybe in a couple years it will be in Webster’s. Probably not, but a special thanks anyway to some dude known as “TheGreatFryMan” for adding it! Here’s the Emomelon cartoon in case you’ve never seen it:

Wang Warrior Production Sketches… mailed to Turkey
When I was moving out of my apartment recently, I was sorting through mountains of old papers, and found all the original drawings for the Wang Warriors crew. I decided to mail them to this guy in Instanbul named Can who is without a doubt the biggest Wang Warriors fan in Eurasia (and probably all of planet Earth). Since it premiered in March 2008, he’s been quoting it in comments and begging for a sequel. While that’s unlikely, maybe the original art will keep him happy for a while!
If you’ve never seen Wang Warriors here it is…Yo Schism, kick it off:

My Most Reblogged Images of 2009 Slideshow
Thanks for a great year, readers. I’ll always remember ‘09 as the one in which Tumblr became a personal obsession. Here’s a slideshow of my image posts that, for whatever reason, got reblogged the most. Honestly, I’m often surprised by which pictures get a reaction and which don’t. Sometimes I think y’all be buggin’ :)
The 12 Days Of Touring
Here’s a little holiday-ish music video I threw together with my friends Mixel Pixel, a Brooklyn music group. They wrote this funny rock band-themed spoof on “12 Days of Christmas” and I thought it would make a funny cartoon. Merry Touring!
